Christine S. Beebe is an independent documentary producer with an MFA in film directing from CalArts. She has produced seven award-winning feature-length documentary films that have competed in prestigious festivals such as Sundance, Telluride, SxSW, HotDocs, SIFF, AFI Fest, AFI Docs, IFFR, and the Viennale. Notably, her Emmy-nominated short form documentary series, WE’VE BEEN AROUND, won Outfest’s Audience Award and GLAAD’s Special Recognition Award. Beebe’s work on the documentary feature, HAL, earned her a Producer’s Guild of America Award nomination in 2019. As an executive in development at Lucasfilm, she developed a 6-part documentary series, LIGHT & MAGIC directed by Lawrence Kazdan, executive produced MORE THAN ROBOTS directed by Gillian Jacobs as well as the first ever Star Wars game show, JEDI TEMPLE CHALLENGE. Her latest documentary film, WELCOME SPACE BROTHERS by Jodi Wille recently began its festival run in October 2023. From Maine, she resides in Los Angeles with her two children.
