Christine Beebe is a documentary producer and CalArts-trained director whose work bridges independent and studio worlds. She was nominated for a Producer’s Guild of America award for HAL (2018) and later served as Lucasfilm’s Executive Director of Non-Fiction Development, where she developed MORE THAN ROBOTS, JEDI TEMPLE CHALLENGE, and the series LIGHT & MAGIC directed by Lawrence Kasdan.
Her documentaries have premiered at Sundance, Telluride, SXSW, HotDocs, AFI, IFFR, and the Viennale, among many others. Her Emmy-nominated short series We’ve Been Around earned GLAAD’s Special Recognition Award and Outfest’s Audience Award.
Christine leads with integrity and collaborates closely with directors to ensure their vision is fully realized. She believes in paying it forward by mentoring high school students through Minds Matter. Currently, she is developing a global documentary on ocean degradation starting in Los Angeles, and a project about iconic Angeleno Anaïs Nin. She is also preserving the legacy of her grandfather, Maine painter Claude Montgomery, and a founding member of US Capital Tours, a civility-forward DC-based experience company rooted in cultural storytelling.
